What do fermentation and risography have in common?
RISOMISO is an attempt to visualize fermentation using risography.
Both processes share a transformation through imposed limitations: in fermentation certain environmental factors such as salt or pH-level determine it’s outcome – the process of risography is limited by registration inaccuracy and a limited color palette. However it’s these limitations that produce the most complex and unique end results.
