As part of our study trip to Mexico City we had a two-day workshop with the Academia Mexicana de Creatividad. The aim of the workshop “Gender Violence” was to find conceptual ideas and solutions to prevent violence and harassment against women in Mexico. There was a lively exchange in mixed groups with the students of the Academy and led to ideas that ranged from fundamental changes in family life to advertising campaigns.

The intercultural exchange was also used to present to the Mexican students posters and animations on “cult in Mexico” from Sven Ingmar Thies’ course “moving posters” and to discuss with them.

In parallel, the workshop with Uta Jugert took place for another group of students.
