The goal of the joint poster project was to identify topics and to develop creative contributions to the ongoing debate about gender equality; a topic that Sven Ingmar Thies examined with students in the course “Designing Posters” in Matthias Spaetgens’ Class for Ideas. Together with Prof. Toshio Yamagata’s and Prof. Zhaohui Cheng’s classes, more than 100 posters were shown in simultaneous exhibitions in Hangzhou, Tokyo and Vienna. A selection of these posters, which can be viewed animated with the Artivive app, are now also on display in Berlin.
