Verena Panholzer
Verena Panholzer is the Art Director and founder of Studio Es, a studio for Visual Communication in Vienna.The 38-year-old is engaged on the board of the Creativ Club Austria (CCA), an active member of the “100 Best Posters” association and holds lectures at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

After finishing Graphic and Communication Design College and studying Industrial Design at the Kunstuniversität Linz, Verena Panholzer worked for TBWA in Berlin. For the last 12 years, she has been running her own studio in Vienna and has mainly been supporting clients in the Arts and Culture sector (e.g. Diagonale, Wien Museum, MdbK Leipzig, Kieler Woche 2018, keen on magazine and tnE Architects) The highly conceptional works of the designer mainly focus on branding and editorial design.

Many of Panholzer’s projects have received international awards, such as the Red Dot Award, Epica, ADC Germany, D&AD, European Design Award, ADC New York and the Creativ Club Austria. In addition, Verena Panholzer often acts as a jury member (e.g. NY Festivals, ADC Europe and Golden Drum Festival). Most recently, she was a juror for the Cannes Lions International Festival’s “Design” category.
