Study trip to berlin in may 2011

Klasse für Ideen went on a study trip to Berlin from 12 May to 18 May 2011. A string of lectures, discussions and workshops at Scholz & Friends, Metadesign and ART+COM agencies, including a visit to the BILD editorial department at Axel-Springer Publishing offices in the high-rise on the Rudi Dutschke-Strasse, provided interesting insights into the city’s creative scene. The obligatory guided tour around Berlin, especially to the Stasi memorial site in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen, left an unforgettable impression of the city’s history.

Our range of contrasting activities was topped off by a concert at the Berliner Philharmonie and a football match between the “Black Beauties” (Scholz & Friends) and “Purple Unicorns” (Klasse für Ideen).

Students created a magazine in workshops during and after the study trip. WURF represents the students’ work. The first issue is an experiment on Berlin as a place of adventure.
